Grant Guidelines

In 2011 the Foundation for Protection of Animals will be funding spay/neuter programs in the states of Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. Please submit grant proposals by mail only.

Priority will be given to programs that target low-income, under-served areas.

Priority will be given to projects with quantifiable outcomes that seek to mitigate the suffering and euthanasia of homeless cats.

Priority will be given to projects that serve the most animals for the dollar through collaborative funding or low cost per surgery.

Organizations that demonstrate collaboration, capacity building, and knowledge/training regarding the implementation and execution of spay/neuter programs will receive priority.  There are a number of free recorded webinars available through Petsmart Charities.

TNR funding is available for specific, targeted projects.  Please email whaugen@protectinganimals.net for more information.
